After a successful preliminary conference last year, our youth conference is returning to provide newcomer youth with insight and guidance to help them succeed in high school and beyond! Our second annual Let's Talk About Your Future Conference will be held in-person on October 24th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza (105 King Street East, Kitchener ON N2G 2K8).

This year we will continue to explore the different pathways and opportunities youth have after high school through the trades, college, and university and for the first time, we will look at how youth can succeed in high school. Through conference style discussions and interactive presentations, youth will connect with University and College staff and students as well as individuals in the trades to learn more about the process and experience of post-secondary education and work. By attending our conference, youth will have the resources and support needed to prepare for their future and achieve their dreams.

This event is open to all newcomer youth (ages 14 - 21) in the area and lunch will be provided. The Youth Conference is completely free to attend, registration is required.
