Waterloo Region Health Services Night
We are excited to partner with Kitchener Public Library (KPL) and the Neighborhood Nursing Team to host the Waterloo Region Health Services Night! This free event is designed to provide newcomers, refugees, immigrants, international students, and the entire community with essential health information and resources.
What to Expect:
Essential Health Services for Women: Dr. Hoda Ghonim, a gynecologist from Shore Services, will lead an informative workshop on women’s health.
Health Care Access: Learn about health care services and access through a presentation by the Neighborhood Nursing Team from Public Health.
Dental Resources in the Waterloo Region: The Dental Health Division of Public Health will provide valuable insights into dental services available in the region.
The Food Bank of Waterloo: Engage in an interactive activity to learn more about local food assistance programs.
Resources and Services at KPL: Discover the wide range of services and resources available at Kitchener Public Library, presented by KPL staff.
Community Resources for Newcomers: KWMC staff will introduce services and programs that support newcomers in settling and thriving in the community.
