Colouring contest, hula-hoops, bubbles, free play and reading stories with special guest:
Ekhaya, they will be doing a Southern African Storytime in partnership with KPL and WPL in the KidsZone' area.
eKhaya SG is about creating a sense of home for everyone. They will also exhibit some Southern African art, fashion, culture and have storytelling.
They will bring traditional artifacts, and musical instruments for an immersive Southern African storytime experience at the Festival.
LIBRARY TENT
Neruda Arts and the mobile stage are visiting 6 different communities in the Region including a stop at the KW Multicultural Festival on June 24 & 25. Join us for a fun day of free performances and activities for kids of all ages!
12:00 P.M. Zumbini - a fun movement and music activity for kids ages 2-5.
1:00 P.M. Puppets & Shadows Theatre will present their puppet show "Pin and Jab and the Monster that Really , Truely, (Maybe), Does Exist"
1:45 P.M. "Build your own Shadow Puppet Theatre" workshop (ages 5+).
3:00 P.M. Learn to DJ with DJ Jazzy.

Rhythm and Blues presents: “Art From the Heart”
This is an invitation for you and your family to visit the Rhythm and Blues tent!
Come and explore the powerful and healing benefits of art and movement therapies on building mental health and resilience and create more collective and safer spaces for our communities to heal, move and play together!
An opportunity to connect and process together through movement and artistic release led by Alana Decker and through somatic liberation and trauma-informed movements with Nicole Brown Faulknor.
Sat 24th: 1-3 pm and 4-6 pm
Sun 25th: 12-2 pm and 3-5 pm
BIKE VALET PARKING
Slow Bike Race: Join the Slow Bike Race on both days June 24th and 25th, 1 – 5 pm at Victoria Park in Kitchener.
The winner is the last person riding a bike on the finish line without putting a foot down. Keep your balance while going super slow to win!
We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle and fill it up at Thunderstorm Drink Box

Saturday and Sunday, kids can enter the KWMF Colouring Contest!
There are 2 age groups and only 1 entry per child:
Age 9 and Under
Age 9 and Up
Submit your colouring entries by 6pm on Sunday, June 25th at the KWMC tent.
Child’s information (name and age) must be legible, full, and complete on the form.
Any colouring tool may be used (i.e., crayons, colouring pencils, etc.).
Winner of each age group will be notified via email.
Prizes are four gift cards of $25, two for each age group.
Share your favorite multicultural moment from the festival!
The photo can be with your family, friends, having some food, music, or dancing!
Post your photo on Instagram or Facebook using #BelongTogetherWR and Follow us and tag us @KWMulticultural to enter the contest!
The most vibrant, captivating, and culturally significant photos can be selected as winners. We will be offering prizes such as gift cards.
Contest entries by 24th and 25th June 8PM.
Winner will be notified via DM.
