Sharing Laura's inspiring journey as a dedicated volunteer with the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre's Conversational English Program for 2 years, beginning in October 2021 when she was matched with a newcomer to Canada. As an immigrant herself, Laura's fluent English and empathy made her a valuable mentor to a newcomer to Canada. Today, their bond continues to flourish.
