Let’s Talk

This client attended the Let’s Talk program for the first time in the Summer 2021 group. When our team got to know her, we noticed that she was an animal lover and wanted to become a veterinarian in the future. When the client completed the needs assessment form, she mentioned that she would like to be connected to community groups and programs based on her interests. We connected her with a program for teens called Advocacy for Animals facilitated by the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth. The client let us know that she is currently attending the program. 

 Here is the feedback that we got from her at the end of the program “Everyone was very friendly and helpful. other than the programs introduced during the meets, they also remembered things I mentioned during the meets (like wanting to become a vet) and messaged me about opportunities for experience”
